i honestly find it just heart wrenching to see a little kid who is already suffering from obesity. for the rest of their lives, they will be suffering from this unless they start a work out plan to start losing the weight. the longer they wait to start trying to shed the pounds the fatter their going to get and then the harder it will be to lose the weight. as i've stated before i work in retail and i was recently helping a customer find clothes for his granddaughter. the poor girl was between 7-8 years old and nothing in the girls section fit her. she would've needed an XXL in girls and we do not carry that in store, i'm not even sure if they make an XXL for girls. i just felt so bad for the little girl because we had no girls clothes to fit her so all i could do was point her in the direction of womens.
i blame the parents. sure some babies are just born chubby, but they only stay chubby if they are fed to much and for the first two or three years, just a rough estimate there, parents are the ones spooning the food into the kids mouth. though they are responsible for the portion sizes for the kids for years and once they form the habits, have fun breaking them. as a parent why would you want to see your kid suffering through obesity. they would be the butt of many jokes in their lives and would be made fun of on the playground. what do you do when you take them to an amusement park and they're too fat to sit in the roller coaster seat? what do you say to them, what can make that not hurt as bad? how are you going to make that less embarrassing for them?
today's world makes it so easy for people to become obese. we're the fast food nation and we run on tight schedules. the fast food companies have taken advantage of this and now offer a quick and easy breakfast, lunch, and dinner. it's so much faster to just run through the drive thru rather than actually making yourself a meal. c'mon people, it's not that hard. unless you don't care if you're obese and that most clothing stores do not carry your size because you have expanded so much. you just drive up to that mcdonald's, burger king, wendys, kfc, or whatever your favorite greasy meal comes from and enjoy all those unnecessary calories. maybe you'll even feel yourself getting fatter as you sit there in your car and shove your face as you drive to work or home or where ever you're going.
i honestly have no sympathy for obese people. it's your own fault for shoving your face with food every chance you get. go work out, i don't care if all you can do is walk. you'll work up to excerize that will steadily burn off your fat. the only people i have sympathy for are those who have that disease that affects the brain so they don't get the impulse to stop eating because they're full. well they could just portion out their food and say i'm only going to eat this much so it's still their fault if they're obese.
